Our building of 98 apartments is directly opposite 50 McLaren st station access. Clearly a 2 year construction programme has major implications for our residents.
1. 24/7 truck cycles cannot be allowed. This area is all residential. Night truck movements have to be restricted.
2. The ped. access from the base of the lift shaft could be too close to our basement which is approx 22 m below natural grd.
3.The EIS allows for a 3 story station service bldg. What constraints are there in place in regard development of the airspace above same ?
4. We support the access in principle noting the above major concerns.
5. What plans are there for 52 McLaren st site after construction is completed.?
