The risk of fires associated with the turbines cannot be overstated. Rural towns have limited firefighting resources, and a large-scale fire could devastate our community and surrounding ecosystems

I object to the Mallee Wind Farm because it is too close to town.

As a farmer, I am concerned about the impact on the critically endangered Small Purple-pea (Swainsona recta) and the endangered Superb Parrot (Polytelis swainsonii) that inhabit our area. This project threatens their habitats and could push these species closer to extinction. I'm worried Turbines will make the swift parrot extinct! There is only a few hundred left in the wild and many many turbine in their flight path an nesting, area they won't survive

It's to close to Gol Gol and my house

The constant noise from the turbine blades will affect not only humans but also local wildlife. Species such as the endangered Malleefowl number are dropping they are a ground dwelling bird.
they could be driven away from their habitats, further endangering their survival.

The installation of the Turbines will bring high voltage transmission lines close to our community. Not only is this a visual blight on our landscape, but it also poses significant health risks due to prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields

I am deeply worried about the constant noise that the installation will generate. Our quiet rural life will be disrupted, affecting our mental health and wellbeing. Moreover, the increased risk of fires is alarming, we already live in a high fire danger area. This project puts our homes and lives at risk

The organization I represent , our charter is "Restoring the Gol Gol Wetlands". Our organization is responsible for the control & management of implementation in times of regulated flow & unregulated flow of the Murray River water into the Gol Gol Swamp & Gol Gol Lake.We are responsible for all aspects of these wetting events. This includes measured volume , salinity levels during & post events , temperature of water. Gol Gol Wetlands are included in International Govt Agreement for Migratory Birds between Australia & China, Japan & Republic of South Korea.This would involve Sections 20 & 20A(listed migratory species
