Members of STUCCO Student Housing Co-operative of Wilson St, Newtown object to the proposed WestConnex Interchange and are concerned with the negative impact that it will have on our beloved King St as well as Sydney park and surrounding suburbs(Redfern, Erskineville, Alexandria, Ashfield...)

We object to WestConnex interchange going ahead as it will worsen local air quality, threaten the character and viability of one of Sydney's best loved streets - KING STREET! - and flood the Inner West with far more traffic than is reasonable, safe and healthy for our community. This money would be better spent on improving public transport. Better for the community and the environment!

Thank you,

Concerned members of STUCCO Housing Co-operative

I declare I have not made any donations to a political party.
I object to the proposed new M5 motorway as presented in the EIS. It does not take in to account that there is nowhere for the traffic to go once it exits the M5 onto suburban streets. The planned widening of Euston Road as far as Maddox will not alleviate a massive traffic jam forming throughout the area.
This will produce massive amounts of carbon monoxide laden vehicle fumes which will be detrimental to many thousands of residents in Alexandria, St. Peters, Erskineville, and Newtown.
The traffic jam will promote a huge rat-run of cars through very narrow suburban streets.
The EIS does not take into account the planned developments for Green Square, Ashmore Estate, and Central to Everleigh which is an astounding omission especially considering some are Planning NSW projects. So that is 120,000+ residents not accounted.
In summary I object based on a obvious traffic modelling failure, adverse health outcomes, and population modelling failure.
