North Byron Parklands is an important social and cultural asset for the region. The owners have done a truly world class job in managing the environmental impact which has been reflected through many improvements not only for traffic but also importantly, community amenity. By operating on a permanent basis they will finally be able to invest in improvements to the site which will only further enhance what will be truly a world-class arts and cultural events venue. As a local, I feel so lucky to have North Byron Parklands in our region. Other regional areas would be begging for this! I fully support the application for North Byron Parklands to become a permanent home for arts and culture in NSW.

The Parklands is a beautiful location and really makes the festival that but better. The camping is far more convenient than filling up hostels etc and adds to the vibe of the festival.

I believe this site is perfect for holding music festivals and other events. The amenities have improved each year and so has the traffic control. It appears to me that theey have also done extensive bush regeneration within the lesser utilised parts of the venue. It is also far enough out of town to not create traffic issues for the locals but still close enough to town for the business owners to benefit from the visitors.
