Dear Jessie,

Thank you for referring the Dendrobium Coal mine proposal to the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD for review. The EIS has been reviewed by the Public Health Unit to consider the potential impacts of the proposal on the health of the residents of the Illawarra.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Public Health Unit has no comments on the EIS at this stage after taking into account the outcomes of the Air quality assessment, surface water quality assessment and noise and blasting assessment.
