Having been born in Gunnedah and grown up in New England region and then
contributed to the development of mining in the gunnedah basin for a
period of 10 years I have personally seen the benefits of mining to
this region and strongly support the Vickery project.

In addition I am aware that while much of the the coal of the proposed
Vickery mine can be sold as metallurgical coal it can also be sold as
very high quality thermal coal which will support the more efficient
power stations in Asia.

Overall I believe this is a very worthwhile project and should be
supported.

More jobs for the area is great, which means more money in the local

I support the submission.
This submission is much better than the 4million tonne case that has
already been approved, for a number of reasons including:
* it will take coal trucks off Bluevale road,
* a new and more effective CHPP process will be built, and it will be
located well out of the town circle
* the submission will continue to provide economic stimulus through
investment and job creation to regional NSW, and to the the state
government in the form or royalties, and to the National debt in the
form of our balance of payments.

im brad iv been in gunnedah for a little over three years

and have been apart of the team of whitehaven and i beleave it has
made a real differance not jusst in my life but also in the community
as well.

I support the Vickery expansion and the jobs it will secure for a
regional area.

Great for NSW

Very supportive of the project, and so are the majority of my family and
friends.
