This area would hugely benefit from the Vickery project. Providing locals
with more job opportunities and allow further growth in the region.

RiteDrill is located in the Hunter Valley in NSW Australia and was
established in 2012. In 2018, RiteDrill now has nine employees and
continues to define itself as a steadfast and reliable option when it
comes to providing support for Rotary Blasthole Drilling Rigs within
the coal and metalliferous mining industry.

RiteDrill works extremely closely with all Whitehaven mine sites and
over the last several years has developed a fantastic and mutually
beneficial relationship by providing expert service, equipment design,
technical advice and quality parts.

In return, Whitehaven - through their ongoing support - has afforded
RiteDrill the ability to develop and grow as a business, and even
allowed us to broaden our business model from one of limitedly "Parts
Supplier" to a model including technical service & support, and
mechanical & design engineering services, which we can now incorporate
into our day-to-day business activities - further growing and
developing our business, our team, and our clientele.

RiteDrill stands behind Whitehaven as a major direct employer in the
greater Gunnedah, Narrabri, Boggabri, and Quirindi areas. We also
stand behind Whitehaven as a major indirect employer with vendors all
through the Eastern States and beyond. The Vickery Extension can only
reassert this position as Whitehaven look to fill the multiple newly
created positions this extension will create, and secure additional
resources and man power required to support the influx of extra
machinery and further infrastructure necessary to the success of this
extension.

RiteDrill back Whitehaven as Australia's largest independent coal
producer, and a reliable provider of quality coal to the export market
- boosting the Australian economy through its coal sales and its
network of aforementioned local employees and regional supply and
support vendors.

Environmentally, RiteDrill is confident of Whitehaven's adhesion to
policies, procedures, industry guidelines, limitations (both
internally and externally imposed) and legislation regulating all
facets of their business operation and day to day enterprise. Our
stance on this point is due to working directly with Whitehaven on
several environmental issues surrounding their Drill Rig fleet - from
noise reduction through to dust suppression measures.

This submission encompasses the view of RiteDrill and its employees.
We support the approval of The Vickery Extension 100% from the
standpoint that it will inject money, resources, skills and jobs into
the local and regional communities surrounding the project. We support
the approval of The Vickery Extension 100% from the standpoint that
Whitehaven is a reliable, community conscious and environmentally
responsible employer. We support the approval of The Vickery Extension
100% from the standpoint that its success secures the longevity of
employment and high-quality coal supply to the export market - both
having a positive impact on Australia's economy.

RiteDrill would like to qualify that - outside of our ordinary
business dealings - we as a business, nor any individual employed by
us, has not received, been promised, or offered, any favour, reward,
or incentive - financial or otherwise - for the writing, submission,
and/or any actual or perceived impact the presence of our statement
may have on the final decision of this project.

Working for a local employement Business it is important that Vickery go
ahead Whitehaven are one of the main employer's in the Gunnedah and
surrounding area, they have always supported the local community one
of there main goals is they employ as many local people as possible,
with Vickery going ahead it can only improve the employment chances,
looking at what Whitehaven have achieved already in the support for
the community

Engineering Unlimited Pty Ltd formally Malcolm Crowley Engineering Pty
Ltd has been servicing Whitehaven Coal since the very beginning at
what is now known as the Canyon site.Because of Whitehaven Coal
growth. This has enabled Engineering Unlimited to expand and provide
local Tamworth employment of up to 15 jobs with a larger scope of work
capabilities previously not offered in the North West region.

I believe that the Vickery mine is an important project for NSW. It will
generate hi quality coal, export revenues and create jobs..

I support the project,

I behalf of Marathon Tyres we support the Vickery Extension, as it will
be good for the district as well as the community. Whitehaven are a
large employer and contributor to the local community.

On behalf of Marathon Tyres Gunnedah we support the Vickery Extension
Project, we have support Whitehaven Coal for the last 6 years giving
us the opportunity to employ and train all local people and the
project will potentially give us the alibility to double our workforce
with local people.
The project will also bring more people, infrastructure and wealth
into the town and open further opportunities for local employment.

THE EXTENSION OF MINING IN THE GUNNEDAH BASIN HAS PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITIES AND STRENGTHENED THE ECONOMIC VIABLITY OF THE AREA
WHILST I BELIEVE NOT LEAVING A DETRIMENTAL IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.

WHILST SOME BUSINESSES MAY NOT SEE DIRECT FINANCIAL BENEFIT FROM THE
MINES THE ANCILLIARY EXPENDITURE MADE BY FAMILIES OF THOSE WORKING IN
THE MINES ENSURES A MORE VIABLE AND DIVERSE BUSINESS COMMUNITY WHICH
IS THEN SELF PROPERGATING.

WHILST BEING SUPPORTIVE OF THE PRPOSAL IT MUST MEET REASONAL
ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA THAT MAY BE IMPOSED UPON IT IN THE
DETERMINATION PROCESS.

WHITEHAVEN, I BELIEVE, HAVE ENDEAVOURED TO COMPLY WITH CONDITIONS
APPLIED TO OTHER MINES AND THEREFORE WITHIN THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS THE
PROPOSAL SHOLUD PROCEED
