Briars Sharrow Bridge Upgrade

The existing crossing of Molonglo River along Briars Sharrow Road consists of a single lane
Concrete Bridge (5 cell Box Culvert crossing) in need of upgrade and widening for two-lane traffic
flow and better flood immunity. To improve the width and the flood resilience of the road, a larger
and higher concrete bridge structure is proposed to replace the existing concrete structure and
subsequently the adjoining road will need to be lifted to match the new bridge design.
