Carrathool Boat Ramp

Carrathool

Proposed Boat ramp into the Murrumbidgee River to provide year-round access to the river for boat launch and retrieval as well as general recreational usage. The boat ramp will be made of concrete matting surface that is geo-fabric backed to prevent erosion.
The informal boat ramp/riverbank is currently already at 20% Grade, the new ramp will be constructed to the standard 12.5% grade. This will require some excavation/cut & fill activities. Any soil removed will be spread on the access track surrounding the boat ramp, leveling out any low spots improving the approach to the ramp. The proposal will provide a safe, permanent, accessible river access/boat ramp.
