Lower Snowy Visitor Area Upgrade
Snowy Monaro Regional Council
The works involve ongoing maintenance and minor upgrades at several visitor areas along the Lower Snowy corridor of Kosciuszko National Park. These activities are designed to improve facilities and support safe, sustainable visitor use while maintaining the natural character of the area.
The visitor areas included are:
• Tongaroo/Jacobs River campground
• Halfway Flat campground
• No Name day use area
• Running Waters campground
• Willis campground
These sites are located adjacent to the Snowy River and provide remote camping and day-use opportunities for visitors to Kosciuszko National Park.
