Broken Hill Library and Archive Development

The approved development application comprised the partial demolition of the existing Charles Rasp Memorial Library Building fronting Blende Street, the demolition of the demountable police buildings on 252 Argent Street and 243 Blende Street and the construction of the new Broken Hill
Cultural Precinct, Library and Archive Development on 249 Argent Street, the provision of car parking on 252 Argent Street and 243 Blende Street and landscaping of the entire site. The modification application seeks to remove the stage behind the Town Hall façade and the public library square and reduces the footprint of the library and archive.
