The Development Application is for the development of an Integrated Seniors Living Precinct and associated upgrade works to the Castle Hill RSL. The proposed development comprises of the following works/components:
•Site preparation works, demolition, excavation and tree removal;
•Construction of an Integrated Seniors Housing Development comprising of:
*321 Independent Living Units split between:
•Building 1 comprising 6 storeys and 64 units;
•Building 2 comprising 6 storeys and 64 units;
•Building 3 comprising 8 storeys and 78 units;
•Building 4 comprising 6 storeys and 64 units; and
•Building 5 comprising 8 storeys and 51 units
*Six (6) Serviced care Apartments, and 90 Residential Aged care Facilities
•Basement Levels and car parking structure accommodating 1,926 spaces, dedicated as follows:
*Independent Living Units: 489 spaces
*Serviced Care/Residential Aged Care: 38 spaces
*RSL Club: 1,399 spaces
•Provision of access to and from the Site
•Ancillary retail and precinct facilities
•Associated landscaping and public domain works; and
•Extension and augmentation of physical infrastructure utilities as required.
