Narromine Renewable Energy Project

Installation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as a standalone project - 4 x 6.25 MWh battery units. The site is within site boundary of another approved project and proposes to use same access roads; and will utilise existing infrastructure associated with previous approvals. Approval has been granted for the installation of a sub-5-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation plant (DA2019/47) at 6 Euromedah Road, Narromine NSW (Solar Project). DA2019/47 was later modified to capture the augmentation of a sub-5 MW battery energy storage system to the existing solar project (DA2019/47.3) (Hybrid Project).
