The Development Application is for the Construction of Two Residential Flat Buildings being 9 storeys (Block A2) and 8 storeys (Block A1) in height containing 100 apartments (17 x 1 bedroom, 59 x 2 bedroom and 24 x 3 bedroom units) and 2 levels of basement car parking for 213 vehicles. The application amends a staged development consent (910/2013/JP) and includes a proposed subdivision of the site into 2 lots. The application is defined as Integrated Development under the provisions of Section 91 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 as approval is required from the Officer of Water under the provisions of the Water Management Act 2000. The application is accompanied by a request to vary a development standard pursuant to Clause 4.6 of the Hills Local Environmental Plan. The determining authority for this application is the NSW Government’s Joint Regional Planning Panel.
