Stage 1 DA seeking the Concept Plan approval for the following components of the development located on land above the mean high water mark:
• The adaptive reuse of the existing boat shed for a mixed use development including:
o Marine related businesses and services;
o Food and drink premises;
o 19 residential apartments.
• Establishment of building envelopes to accommodate up to 70 dwellings at the site (inclusive of the proposed within the boat shed). This will include 18 x 3 storey town houses fronting Waterview Street and a 3 storey residential apartment building containing 33 units with basement carparking;
• Indicative landscape design;
• At grade car parking;
• Demolition of ancillary structures;
• Land remediation works.
The above proposal is Integrated development under the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, as the subject proposal is within 40m of a Waterway. The relevant approval body is the Department of Primary Industries - Water.
