Garden Suburb Rezoning Proposal

The Department has finalised the Garden Suburb Rezoning Proposal lodged by Landcom under the accelerated rezoning pathway for social and affordable housing program. The site is located at 9A, 69 and 82 Myall Road, Garden Suburb.  

The Rezoning Proposal amended planning controls under the Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2014 to enable a 39-hectare site to transition to residential and conservation zoning, facilitating 160 new homes, including 69 affordable homes, while preserving more than 28-hectares of native bushland.
