Macarthur Gardens North

Proposal: The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (the Department) has finalised the Landcom Rezoning Proposal for Macarthur Gardens North under the Social and Affordable Housing planning program.

The Department publicly exhibited the proposal from March 2025 to April 2025 and feedback received helped to inform its finalisation and updates to the Campbelltown Local Environmental Plan 2015 (CLEP 2015). 

The Rezoning Proposal will:

• increase the maximum building height from 9 to 24 storeys
• enable the delivery of up to 375 additional homes, with 10% allocated to affordable housing
• rezone land along the Bow Bowing Creek reserve to RE1 Public Recreation and removes the provision for maximum building heights in these areas
