Amendment 16 Cessnock LEP 2011 - Deferred Matters

The Planning Proposal aims to:1) Rezone deferred land from 1(a) Rural 'A' to appropriate zones in the Cessnock LEP 2011 and provide a single LEP for the whole Cessnock LGA.2) Rezone land from 1(a) Rural 'A' to SP2 Infrastructure to align with property boundaries3) Rezone land from 1(a) Rural 'A' to E2 Environmental Conservation to protect significant environmental lands4) Apply a minimum lot size of 40ha over the RU2 Rural Landscape zone.5) Apply a minimum 80ha over the E2 Environmental Conservation zone.6) Introduce new RU2 Rural Landscape zone objectives and adopt the Department's model clauses dealing with the provision of essential services and groundwater vulnerability.7) Map existing heritage items and the parts of Wollombi heritage conservation area located in the deferred area.
