The Planning Proposal is to rezone land at proposed Lot 1 in Lot 5054 DP 1161757 Airfield Drive, Len Waters Estate, Cecil Park, to permit a home improvement centre. The land is located at the juncture of the M7 Motorway and Cowpasture Road and forms part of the 41 hectare industrial precinct known as the Len Waters Estate. The site is a part of the former Hoxton Park Airport site.The proposal seeks to rezone 3.47 hectares of land from: IN2 Light Industrial,IN1 - General Industrial and SP2 - Infrastructure(Drainage) Zone, to B5 - Business Development Zone, under Liverpool LEP 2008. Rezoning would enable the development of a stand alone, 13 500m2 bulky goods premises.
