Young Local Environmental Plan 2010 (Amendment No 4)

This Planning Proposal (PP) will zone land that was deferred from the Young LEP 2010 (pending an Industrial Lands Investigation). These investigations have been completed and the PP will:1) Chillingworks Road - expand the existing industrial area by zoning 5.7 hectares of adjoining land to IN1 General Industrial. The remaining deferred lands will be zoned RU4 Primary Production Small Lots consistent with the surrounding land and SP2 Sewage Treatment Plant.2) Park Avenue, Young - zone land that includes current industrial development that has been found unsuitable for industrial use into the future to R1 General Residential. 3) Spring Creek Road - Zone 10.8 hectares of RU4 Primary Production Small Lots to IN1 General Industrial and 2 hectares to R5 Large Lot Residential with a 1 hectare minimum lot size.4) Burrangong Hall Road - Rectify an error whereby land zoned RU1 was inadvertently left uncoloured on the relevant lot size map and showing this as 170 hectare minimum lot size.
