Thurgoona Wirlinga Precinct Planning Proposal
Albury City
The key objective of the Planning Proposal is to rezone the Precinct in line with the 2025 Structure Plan, which is the primary development area within the Albury-Wodonga region. This objective is to be achieved through various amendments to land use zones, planning provisions and maps under Albury LEP 2010. The 2025 Structure Plan provides a framework for coordinated growth, focusing on biodiversity protection, the location of new centres, parks and open spaces, and appropriate residential densities.
