The planning proposal seeks to refine the local application of Chapter 6 of the Housing SEPP to address the unintended and poor planning outcomes arising from the LMR Policy in sensitive areas of Mosman, while delivering the same amount of housing capacity via a place-based 30-year planning framework. The Mosman Masterplan establishes a coordinated approach to housing delivery that balances State housing objectives with local character, infrastructure capacity and community expectations.
