Section 144 approvals

Consent under Section 144 of the NSW Roads Act 1993 (Roads Act) is required before a permit for a road event can be issued in certain circumstances.

An approval may not be granted on a classified road or in the circumstances outlined in Section 115 of the Roads Act except with the consent of Transport for New South Wales. For more information please contact your local roads authority.

How to lodge

1. Register for a NSW Planning Portal account to start your application.
2. Log in to complete the online application form. You may be required to submit further documents to support your development application.
