Have your say by 20 July 2021

We need your ideas, thoughts and feedback on the draft Smart Places Customer Charter. We're especially keen to hear from the public, government agencies, place owners such as local councils and developers, as well as the technology industry.

Use the form below to make a submission on the draft, and visit our engagement hub to complete our survey or leave a comment on our discussion wall.

All feedback received between June 22 and close of business on July 20 2021 will be considered.

When making your submission or sharing your thoughts, you may wish to consider the following discussion questions:

  • Do you support having a customer charter for smart places?
  • Do the principles make sense to you, is the wording clear?
  • If you are making a submission as a customer, or as a representative of a group of customers, do the principles reflect your expectations of smart places?
  • If you are a place owner or another organisation involved in the creation and management of smart places, would you be able to implement the principles and would you need any support or guidance to do so?

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we strongly encourage online submissions. If you are unable to make your submission online, please email it to [email protected] or mail it to:
