Draft Far West Regional Plan


The NSW Government has released the Draft Far West Regional Plan which outlines a vision to diversify the economy by supporting job growth, and strengthening the region’s strategic centre Broken Hill, and other key areas throughout the region. This Plan marks the first time a regional land use plan has been prepared for the eight local government areas and the Unincorporated Area that make up the Far West. The draft Plan has three goals for the region: A diverse economy with efficient transport and infrastructure networks An exceptional and distinctive natural environment Strong and connected communities Further information is available at www.planning.nsw.gov.au/farwest Feedback invited You can view and comment on the draft plan until 13 March 2017.
