Planning changes to the Wyong Local Environmental Plan 2013

The amendment proposes new planning controls for the Tuggerah-Wyong major centre and gateway site, which will encourage investment and new employment opportunities for the region. This is important as the region’s population is expected to grow by around 80,000 by 2031. The proposal will allow for an additional 30,000 square metres of commercial floor space, including bulky goods outlets, with extensive on-site parking on part of the gateway site which is adjacent to the Tuggerah Westfield shopping centre.
