Official Caution issued to CEAL Limited (MP07_0155) Goulburn Mulwaree LGA
On 20 January 2023, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to CEAL Limited for failing to review the rehabilitation bond for the Ardmore Park Quarry within 3 months of submitting the 2018 Independent Audit report as required by the conditions of consent. Review and revision of rehabilitation bonds is necessary to consider the effects of inflation, changes to disturbance areas and the performance of existing revegetation works.
Official Caution issued to CEAL Limited (MP07_0155) Goulburn Mulwaree LGA
On 9 February 2023, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to CEAL Limited (CEAL) for failure to keep accurate and up to date records of truck movements to and from the Ardmore Park Quarry on the company website and in Annual Reviews. CEAL have since uploaded an updated truck movement summary report to their website.
Penalty Notice issued to CEAL Limited (MP07_0155) Goulburn Mulwaree LGA
On 5 February 2024, NSW Planning issued a $15,000 Penalty Notice to CEAL Limited for truck movements leaving Ardmore Park Quarry outside the approved hours during 2023. CEAL Limited are installing a new weighbridge system to prevent future non-compliances. Compliance with approved hours assists in protecting the amenity of surrounding sensitive receivers.
Penalty Notices issued to CEAL Ltd (MP07_0155) Goulburn Mulwaree LGA
On 18 July 2025, NSW Planning issued two (2) $15,000 Penalty Notices to CEAL Limited for failing to comply the approved hours of operation, and failing to comply with the approved hourly truck movement limits at the Ardmore Park Quarry. During the 2024 calendar year 28 truck movements occurred outside the approved operating hours, and 80 truck movements occurred in excess of the approved hourly limits. CEAL Limited are currently updating weighbridge equipment and procedures to ensure future compliance with conditions of consent in relation to truck movements.
