This project will provide all local communities with huge economic growth and employment benefits which are of great need. The local communities have been majorly affected by the closure of many large businesses. This project going ahead would rectify any issues we currently experience. It would encourage the growth of towns, schools and existing businesses. It creates a future for the younger generations within these communities.

I oppose the Bowdens Silver Project, due to the environmental damage that is highly possible from the mine works. The proposed project will produce noise, dust, traffic, and toxic waste, and also de-value the properties all around the mine site, and district. The water table, the ground water and underground water in the Lue district is still in a natural state. There is no guarantee that the Lue area, farmlands, and waterways, would not be affected from a nearby mine that has major excavation works, new dirt roads, a tailings dam from mine waste with chemicals, and altered natural areas. The long term detrimental effects of this mining proposal, need to be seriously considered, so our beautiful Mudgee/Lue areas, and the farming lands which produce our food, will remain healthy, and for future generations.

I support this project and in my opinion this mine will create jobs in the area and further support the community as a result of funds moving through the small businesses directly and indirectly benefiting from the project

Not only does this project create jobs through mining operations, it also benefits local businesses in the area who benefit from workers coming and staying in the Greater Mudgee area as a result of mining operations. I also support the mining operations to ensure that NSW stays a valuable partner in Australian resource and mineral exports.
