Official Caution issued to Coastal Sand Quarry Products Pty Ltd (MP07_0145, Port Stephens LGA)
On 21 September 2021, the Department issued an Official Caution to Coastal Sand and Quarry Products Pty Ltd for failing to implement long term security of the biodiversity offsets for the Fullerton Cove Sand Quarry. The Department is working with the quarry operator to ensure they implement the long-term security as a matter of priority.
Official Caution issued to Coastal Sand Quarry Products Pty Ltd (MP07_0145, Port Stephens LGA)
On 21 September 2021, the Department issued an Official Caution to Coastal Sand and Quarry Products Pty Ltd for failing to undertake rehabilitation in accordance with the Landscape Management Plan at the Fullerton Cove Sand Quarry. The Department has required the quarry operator to undertake specific commitments and timeframes to complete the rehabilitation.
Penalty Notice issued to Coastal Sand and Quarry Products Pty Ltd (MP07_0145) Port Stephens LGA
On 6 June 2022, the department issued a $15,000 penalty notice to Coastal Sand and Quarry Products Pty Ltd (CSQP), for failure to provide long term security of the biodiversity offset strategy for the Fullerton Cove Sand Quarry. CSQP are working with the department to finalise the long-term security of the biodiversity offset strategy.
