Fire & Recue NSW (FRNSW) note that Section 7.2.2 of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) identifies that the activities associated with the proposed development are not potentially hazardous (i.e. as defined in SEPP 33) and therefore a preliminary hazard analysis (PHA) is not required to be undertaken.

Notwithstanding, it is FRNSW experinece that at facilities where large quantities of combustible and flammable liquids are stored and transported there is potential for a significant fire incident to occur.

Consequently, it is FRNSW recommendation that the proponent, or their nominated consultant, engage with FRNSW when undertaking the design of the facility's fire systems (in particular the design and minimum flow rate capability of the fire hydrant system and the location of fire hydrants and fire hydrant booster assembly.

As my business is situated directly behind 14 Rayben Street Glendenning the current odour is unpleasant at times and I believe if this application were to be granted that the odour will be more frequent and unbearable!

I have confronted JJ Richards and discussed my issues in the past but they have expressed NO concern to address the odour nor to try and resolve the issue.
