I object to the Liverpool Range Quarry.

This project will remove non renewable geological resources in order to supply material to a project that will supply unreliable, weather dependent, expensive energy to a small number of households during periods when the wind is blowing appropriately.

The proponent imagines that greenhouse gases will be reduced given the location of the quarry. Green house gases will be reduced if this project and the associated wind Liverpool Range Wind swindle never get built.

The heavy vehicle traffic on Vinegaroy Road between Coolah and the Golden Highway at present is made of trucks carrying farm produce plus supplies to Coolah and nearby towns. This quarry, the wind swindle, the transmission project and the multiple accommodation camps will increase the traffic on this road by at least 287%. At no stage does the proponent show any understanding of cumulative impact of heavy vehicles and traffic along this route.

Only land owners who really hate their land and environment could support this quarry and the associated wind swindle.

Undoubtedly the quarry will be used until resources are depleted by any number of local wind/solar/battery swindles. Where is the next quarry? When will this quarry be expanded? We all know that once these projects get approved there is no end to the environmental destruction that the NSW Government will approve.

What will the landowner fill the depleted quarry with? Guessing batteries, solar panels and turbine components as there will be no end of unrecyclable rubbish in our community.

Dust pollution, noise pollution, sediment runoff, chemical contamination, dropping the water table, destroying habitat, contribution to endangered, vulnerable and protect species risks, loss of biodiversity, greenhouse gas emissions and erosion all add up to this project (and the associated wind swindle) destroying the environment.

This project is not in the public interest.

This project, once the quarry materials have been depleted, will undoubtedly become a giant land fill. If the quarry does not contaminate the waterways and nearly agricultural land then it certainly will when it turns into the land fill for batteries, turbine blades and solar panels.

This quarry is on private land. What does this say about the owner of the this land?

Stop destroying the environment.

This project's sole purpose is to dig up non renewable geological resources which cannot be replaced. And all for the wind swindle access tracks, hardstand areas, turbine foundations and cement production.

None of this is in any way good for the environment. The impending ground water depletion, contamination of nearby waterways, dust, erosion, noise pollution, runoff and contamination of soil and water quality means that this project is contributing to environmental disaster in the district.

I object to the Liverpool Range Quarry.

This quarry is to supply materials to the Liverpool Range Wind swindle. Both the quarry and the wind swindle will destroy habitat, fragment ecosystems and further risk endangered species - Box Gum Woodland for starters.

The risk to the nearby Talbragar River from sediment runoff and contamination is unacceptable. Between the quarry and the extensive water use of the Wind swindle project ground water resources in the area will be eroded.

The dust pollution, noise pollution and greenhouse gas emissions all point to the fact that this quarry and the associated wind swindle will destroy our environment. This quarry will be a very energy intensive project thus the proponent's statements about how this project will reduce greenhouse gases is completely fabricated. Nobody for one minute believes that traffic along the Vinegaroy road between Coolah and the Golden Highway will be anything but a complete nightmare for existing road users.

Stop polluting our environment.

The Liverpool Range Quarry Project poses significant risks across biodiversity, water resources, air quality, noise, and community well-being. The absence of a detailed and enforceable rehabilitation plan further underscores the project’s shortcomings. This submission strongly recommends the project be reconsidered until all critical gaps are addressed, with enhanced mitigation measures and compliance frameworks in place.

I object to Liverpool Range Quarry as this plan is all about destroying the environment to construct Liverpool Range Turbines as ugly as sin & pathetic for power.
We love our natural countryside & do not want it destroyed by greedy developers & hosts who are selfishly ripping off Australia & burdening us with a toxic contaminated future - depriving us of our own, far superior Australian power with minimal environmental footprint that works 24/7.

Liverpool Range Quarry is a damaging plan that will
result in excessive energy use for destructive purposes - helping to create an horrendous plague of Liverpool Range Wind Turbine Wrecking Machines that nobody with any sense wants as they are already destroying Australia forever!

This quarrying plan will disrupt the local threatened species, biodiversity & vital water systems to such an extent that creatures & human beings will suffer & be deprived of healthy water & food.
Many deaths will result from Liverpool Range Wind Electricity Generating Works if this terrible curse eventuates as stacks of birds & bats will be slaughtered & people will die of hyperthermia because Wind & Solar don’t work most of the time.

Habitat destruction for this unnecessary Wind Turbine Factory Quarry will force local wildlife to migrate or perish, further endangering already vulnerable species and disrupting the ecological balance.
Why would anyone approve this quarry & such an ugly, toxic microplastic shedding Liverpool Range Wind Factory that will poison essential food & water for Australian people, as well as ruining such an iconic & precious landscape, just so a few greedy crooks get rich?

I object to this quarry plan as it is for a very bad purpose.
Wind Turbines are unreliable, dangerous & hardly ever work.
The long-term environmental impact and resource depletion caused by the quarry could ultimately increase energy costs for consumers, further exacerbating the financial strain on households and businesses caused by the Fake Green rort.

This Quarry project represents a misuse of public land for private profit, rather than using that land for purposes that would benefit the public, such as conservation or sustainable agriculture.
Just like Liverpool Range Wind Monstrosity which defies the Paris Agreement by threatening food security.
None of this is for Australian benefit or The Greater Good!

This energy intensive quarry plan is not sustainable clean or environmentally friendly at all!
Just like the ecocidal Liverpool Range Wind Turbine Factory, it has no benefits - only detrimental impacts on the biodiversity, local plant and animal species as well as harming human beings reliant on healthy soil & water sources for human sustenance.

Liverpool Range Quarry is a horrible plan at Cassilis because it’s dedicated to enabling the despicable Liverpool Range Wind Turbine Disaster that everybody hates with a vengeance!
These con jobs have been designed by seriously illogical, delusional people who are determined to poison our life sustaining soil & water & to ensure that Australia has blackouts & is reliant on & controlled by our most hostile enemy!

No doubt the extremely greedy pariah host will be held to account in future for selfishly wrecking Australia’s ecological habitat, for hosting & enabling contaminating toxic junk, torturing the local community, & harming all long suffering Electricity customers.
Is the dodgy Host also planning to dump his toxic Turbine Blades in his big quarry hole later on?

A proposed hard rock quarry that would extract, process and transport up to 700,000 tonnes per annum of hard rock material for the purpose of supporting the construction, operation and maintenance of ugly monstrosities doesn’t make sense or sound one bit sustainable or healthy at all as it’s just environmentally destructive contaminating JUNK that make people sick, that will catch fire & kill people!
No wonder it’s called ‘Ruinable & RenewaBULL!’

Liverpool Quarry plan is completely hypocritical - the antithesis of the Fake Green claims of Clean & Sustainable as there will be known & unknown detrimental impacts on EPBC Listed Threatened Species & essential surface water resources caused by reductions in downstream flow to the surrounding catchment depleted as a result of the quarry Water Management System (WMS) retaining Water.
There will be adverse water quality impacts on numerous, adjacent dams, creeks & downstream receiving waters during all phases of the project - construction, operation and closure - as a consequence of erosion and transport of sediment from exposed surfaces in stormwater discharges to the surrounding environment.

But wait - of course, construction & quarrying activities for a range of roadbase, concrete aggregates, drainage rock required for construction of the public road upgrades, access tracks, hardstand areas, massive foundations and other civil works associated with the Project must rely solely on weather dependent, intermittent Wind/Solar power - to satisfy NSW Government policy aims - with the bulk of the work done predominantly on foot & with bare hands just like Fred Flintstone & Barney Rubble style - to ensure NSW Government’s Net Zero Energy Poverty plan is actually properly adhered to by its advocates & policy makers.
The production process surely cannot have any reliance at all on any embedded energy sources derived from Fossil Fuels - ensuring they actually abide by the Department’s NSW RenewaBULL Energy Targets/Bills.

Vehicles can’t possibly be used if reliant on fossil fuel production or diesel, otherwise that would be such a conflict of interest & there would definitely be pollutants such as hydrocarbons - fuel/oil leaks or spills - entrained in stormwater discharges to the surrounding environment as well as from residual elevated nitrate concentrations as a result of blasting activities - contaminating the Macquarie-Bogan River and Hunter Catchments.

Let’s see the authoritarian megalomaniac’s propaganda of the ‘New Renewable Energy Planning Fantasy Framework’ in action - showing NSW actually is genuinely leading a once-in-a-generation downgrade of the electricity network, building the infrastructure that will NEVER keep the lights on!
