The whole project is based on information supplied by the company on a false premise.
There is NO gas shortage in NSW but manipulation of the market by vested interests to have us believe there is or will be shortages.
Australia is the the second largest exporter of gas in the world and mostly controlled by the Santos group that make massive profits and pay minimal tax and royalties.
Some of the high profile ex politicians have been or have public records verifying their personal vested interests. Hardly the people who will give the public unbiased views
This project is not required. A demonstrable atmosphere and water polluter, incredibly costly as well as causing irreparable damage to prime agricultural land.
This project MUST be stopped.

Objections to SSD-76788277-MOD-1 (Central Coast Quarter – Early Works Stage 2)
1. Extended Construction Impact
The Central Coast Quarter site has been under construction for approximately three years, causing prolonged disruption to the community.
Residents have endured continuous noise, dust, and inconvenience during this period.
2. Cumulative Impact from Adjacent Development
A new construction project at The Grand, 37 Mann Street is also underway.
The combined effect of both projects results in daily noise, dust, and traffic congestion, significantly reducing livability.
3. Loss of Peace and Tranquility
You moved to Gosford seeking peace and tranquility, but now find yourself living in what feels like an ongoing construction zone.
This situation has severely impacted your quality of life and amenity.
4. Environmental Concerns
Early works will increase dust, sediment runoff, and noise pollution, further degrading air quality and affecting nearby ecosystems.
Lack of robust mitigation measures raises risks for health and the environment.
5. Traffic and Safety Risks
Additional heavy vehicle movements will worsen congestion and pose safety hazards for pedestrians and local traffic.
6. Sequencing Risks
Commencing early works before full Stage 2 approval may create irreversible impacts without comprehensive mitigation measures.

We moved to Gosford seeking peace and tranquillity, but instead find ourselves living in what feels like an ongoing construction zone. The prolonged disruption has severely impacted our quality of life and amenity.
I respectfully request that the IPC review this modification in light of its cumulative impacts, lack of adequate mitigation including: • Public Interest: The cumulative impact of multiple construction projects undermines community wellbeing and contradicts the principle of sustainable development.
• Cumulative Impact: With Central Coast Quarter under construction for four years and The Grand at 37 Mann Street also underway, residents face continuous noise, dust, and traffic congestion.
• Amenity Protection: The modification fails to adequately safeguard residential amenity, resulting in loss of peace, increased health risks, and diminished livability.
• Environmental Management: Early works risk exacerbating dust, sediment runoff, and noise pollution without robust mitigation measures.
• Traffic and Safety: Additional heavy vehicle movements will worsen congestion and pose safety hazards for pedestrians and local traffic.
