This modification allows the proponent to construction the Bengalla Link Rd realignment that was always a part of the existing project. It simply requires some minor adjustments to reflect changes in road standard from when the 'indicative' road alignment was approved back in 2015. This modification supports the existing workforce and should be approved as it forms part of the existing project scope.

I support Mod 8 because the Bengalla Link Road realignment is essential for the continued operation of the mine. Securing these operations is vital for maintaining local jobs and the economic health of the Muswellbrook community.
If this infrastructure adjustment is not approved and the continuity of site is effected, by extension, as a contractor associated with the site my own livelihood and employment could be at risk.
