The Stage 2A access plan for cycling and pedestrian commuters from existing North-East areas using The Crescent to access the rail station should be improved.

Can access across the Southern boundary of the Training Depot be secured? If not, then what about servitudes across lots 2012 and 2029? Whatever the means, please streamline the current torturous route from the North-East to the Station!

If pedestrian and cyclist access to this Key Transport Node (see item 5.4 "Transport & Access) is improved for existing locals, I would have no further objection to this plan.

Attention: Director, Metropolitan and Regional Projects North
We wish to object to a number of aspects of the proposal.
1. The removal of a large number of trees along Mountainview Crescent.
A number of these trees are of significant age and mark the line of the original carriageway to Thornton Hall. Little consideration seems to have been given to shaping the proposal to protect these trees and the wildlife they support.
2. The creation of a line of attached dwellings along the Eastern side of Mountianview Crescent.
These dwellings pay little respect to the numerous heritage properties at their rear. A more appropriate proposal would have them as separate single-storey bungalows.

Hi Brent,

I have reviewed this DA and do not see any issues of major concern for Transport for NSW.

RMS may provide a separate response.
