I am a landowner of the property beside the land to which the DA applies and I do not object to the proposal, in fact, I think it's a good idea. However, I note my farming country is located on the northern side of the proposed development site, just over the fence. I request that no trees be planted along the boundary between the proposed development site and my farming country as I have recently cleared this area for a new fence line and I don't want any trees there.

I object to the application made by Epuron in relation to a Walgett Solar Farm. This is due to the following reasons:
1. The Visual impact of this solar farm will have disastrous effects on the sale of my land which neighbours this development on the southern and eastern side. These blocks have been subdivided to provide a lifestyle block out of town on a small acreage. They have been sold to people who wish to live just out of Walgett.
2. The Earthworks and trench depth of the electrical cable could have a catastrophic and life threatening effect to those working on our property. If we were to do any deep ripping on the property it would potentially come into contact with the cable. Bulldozer shanks go down to a depth of at least 800mm which would come into with the cables causing serious harm or death.
There is also potential danger in the 2 Mile Warrambool in times of flooding when the cables could become exposed if the earthworks are washed away.
3. I believe the road that they wish to upgrade should be widened to at least 8 metres. This will allow trucks/cars to pass and overtake freely without any safety concerns to local residents and construction workers of this site.
