renewable energy is good and our earth needs us to use it

Im in favour of the project for the sake of renewable energy. i love wind generated electricity

I support the proposal for renewable energy projects especially if they are located in rural locations thus bolstering these fragile economies. There are many locations suitable for wind farms on the less used or unusable land on rural properties. We need to do as much as we can to help protect our environment and our planet and this project will make a small but important contribution to such efforts

I support the Winterbourne Wind Farm in Walcha, Uralla Shire, as I believe this will bring development and new jobs to the community.

Wind power to produce electricity is economical and sustainable as long as it is away from areas where people live

I support the Winterbourne Windfarm project because I believe it will greatly benefit the Walcha community . It will bring employment for locals, and it is a way for the region to contribute towards the zero emissions target by 2050. It is a very progressive step for the Walcha community and so will encourage new residents to settle in the town. Therefore it will become a great investment to ensure that the Walcha region will thrive well into the future.

Dear NSW government,

I support the Winterbourne Wind Farm. As a citizen of the blue mountains, I have had to bear the cost of climate change: shorter gaps between fires and floods that last for months. Not only does this have a financial impact on maintaining our property, but is also has an emotional impact. I worry that we are not acting fast enough to solve climate change, with the technology that we already have. I believe the winterbourne wind farm will help alleivate some of the future and current suffering in New South Wales and strongly support it. We need more renewable energy projects in our state. It will take all of us to solve this.

To make the transition to renewable energy that Australia needs to make to avoid a complete climate catastrophe, we need as many of these types of projects as we can reasonably and sensibly develop. This project is in the right location to take advantage of prevailing winds, and is also within a REZ, supported by the NSW Government. And it will support jobs and economic growth for Uralla Shire. This project should go ahead.

This Project is a great project and I think it will provide power. I also think it will help stop power shortages.

This project will inject money into the local economy and also create much needed jobs. The project will also mean that we as a nation are less reliant on coal and other nonrenewable fuels to power our way of life

I am supportive of renewable projects and Australia's move to a greener energy - a project of this size is important and can really take us a way towards achieving this and reducing reliance on fossil fuels
