Development application

The conditions of consent project enables consent authorities to create and store conditions of consent within the NSW Planning Portal and automatically generate notices of determination. The application programming interface (API) has been released.

Amendments to the API include:

• Images being supported within conditions
• More flexibility in the notice of determination generation
• Councils have the option to log directly into the NSW Planning Portal or use an API
• Councils are not required to generate a notice of determination through the Portal, as long as the mandatory format is utilised

State significant development and State significant infrastructure

New functionality allows proponents to initiate and manage their public authority (agencies and councils) engagements via the NSW Planning Portal. This is enabled for proponents just before they lodge the application. This also provides an opportunity for early insights by the assessment officers of the engagements between the proponent and the relevant agency.
