The only thing this project is connecting is destruction and generations of debt.

I object to the Victoria to NSW interconnector West due to the devastation it will cause the environment and those living close to this development. The VNI West connection and the Dinawan Substation have not been planned with any consideration to the farming communities living near by. The enormous amount of infrastructure proposed to be built in the area close to the Dinawan substation will create an industrial zone which will adversely affect the both native wildlife and flora as well as the people who will be forced to live amongst it.

I object to this Interconnector project

I object to this project. There is no social licence around this.

this will destroy a large part of rural NSW.

This project will destroy rural Australia.

Much of the EIS has been done as a desk top study and not on the ground.
The current route is going through environmental critical wetlands and areas of endangered flora and fauna.
Farming families are being destroyed.

The EIS is NOT correct.
Major impacts have not been included.
Critically endangered species and their habitat has been ignored and left out of the EIS.
Major Wetlands and creeks are not identified on the maps.
Farm infrastructure and critical land use has also been ignored.
This appears to be a very poorly rushed Environmental impact statement that has mainly done via a desktop and not on the ground or with consultation from landholders and impacted communities.
STOP this project now and do it properly with consultation and transparency.
