I am in full support of the Hills of Gold Wind Farm as I fully support creating employment. I have worked in the Nundle area regularly for the past 3 years and look forward to the opportunity for more work to help support me and my family. I love supporting the local businesses in the community. I've seen wind farms in Victoria on flat land coinciding with sheep, cattle and farming country. This is the way forward for sustainable energy.

I have lived and visited the area of Nundle many times of the past 12 years. I believe the wind farms will not be unsightly to the community and will in fact create some interest. Where I currently work the mines are visible from the highway and are very unsightly. I believe in green energy, we can not burn coal forever. It should also create long term employment for a small community.

It is my belief that the windfarm will bring many benefits to the Nundle/Hanging Rock/Crawney and surrounding communities. These communities are small and isolated and often disadvantaged. Apart from the benefits that come to the communities the proposal presents an excellent opportunity to reduce the dependence on coal powered generation of electricity with an estimated saving of 650,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions every year. The urgency of the climate crisis is increasing, making our transition to clean energy ever more important.
The project is expected to create 216 direct and 430 indirect jobs during the 2.5 year construction period, with ongoing employment a lesser number to maintain the structures. This can only be a benefit to the survival of these small and isolated communities through generation of employment opportunities, rental/leasing arrangements of housing and land, injection of funds into the economy of the local and surrounding districts, improvement to community diversity with families visiting and settling in the area, and general improvements within the community through the use of the community funds.
It would be very pleasing to see the project approved and commenced as soon as possible.

I support green energy for the future generation. I would visit Nundle just to show my family the wind farms as I am interested in seeing them working. Great to think they will support the Nundle small community by creating more employment.

Wind farms are a way of the future. I live in a coal mining community and see the negative impacts it has on the environment and view. I don't think the wind farm will be anything like that in comparison.

I want to declare that I do work for Jim Robinson and am happy to support the project without influence. I understand the concerns of residents however I have seen what the proposal will look like and am of the opinion that it will not impact the town negatively. I quite often visit Nundle and camp at Sheba Dam and will continue to do so if the project is approved. I think it would be disappointing if the project did not go ahead as I believe the benefits far outweigh any concerns.

I support green energy and as well as growth to the local Nundle area. It would be a shame not to see this go ahead, as I would presume it would create long term employment for a small community and well as providing electricity to 185,000 homes.

I'm the Director of a business based in Muswellbrook, currently employing 80 people. I have worked on wind farms in the past, White Rock and Sapphire Wind farms. We are looking forward to getting work on the wind farm. With the approval of the wind farm it will actually create more permanent jobs which will be a boost economically for the local area.

The amenity of the town of Nundle and surroundings must not be compromised by wind farms.
The beautiful rolling hills, wildlife and scenic beauty must be preserved and protected.
No amount of money can compensate for this proposed intrusion on the community. It is immoral for the proponent of the project to attempt to bribe the farmers.
All efforts must be made to protect the physical and visual environment.
The project must not be allowed to progress.
