I am writing in strong support of the Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) Continuation Project.
I have lived in Singleton my entire life and have seen first-hand how vital HVO is to our region. The operation provides a large number of stable, well-paying job opportunities for local people.
If the extension is not approved, a huge number of employees and contractors—many of whom are local families—will be out of work. This would have a significant and lasting impact on our community, our economy, and the livelihoods of countless households.
The continuation of HVO is essential to maintaining local employment, sustaining community services, and ensuring economic stability for Singleton and the wider Hunter Valley.
