I BELIEVE THAT THE EXTENSION BENEFITS:
THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, THROUGH EMPLOYMENT AND USE OF TOWN FACILIITIES.
THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, THROUGH EMPLOYMENT AND USE OF LOCAL CONTRACTORS
INCREASE IN TAXES FROM BOTH DIRECT AND INDIRECT EMPLOYEES AND THE COMPANY

we have 25 people directly working at Warkworth and if this site was to close we would lose a lot off fabrication in our workshop and would have to terminate 25 people + some from workshop. as our company turns over 2 million a year temmco would possibly have to shut

Coal & Allied emloyees a large number of employee's on the MTW site and supports a large number of companies in the local and surronding area's . I feel that the benifits for both employees and the community are high if the consent was to be granted ,i feel that the community would loose out if the consent was rejected , as Coal & Allied supprt many non profit community projects through out the local government area.

I've been working at MTW and living in the area for the past 4yrs. The opportunities and life style that working at MTW provide are what drew me the the Hunter valley 4 years ago. I love working at MTW and I love living in the Hunter. If my job isn't secure I can not commit to investing in the local area. I would be forced to relocate and set up elsewhere.

If this extension is not approved it could lead me loosing my job , income and our future retirement plans. At 52 years of age it will be very difficult to get another job.
