I am making a submission for the go ahead for this project. In my opinion the continuation of the HVO north will be vital to local familys with young children like myself to secure a long term stable future in the hunter valley. Myself believes that coal is is very much still in need for the longer term of Australia. providing a cheaper and reliable alternative in power than others that are being suggested. 100's of local smaller businesses need these mines to continue to keep a roof over there own heads also.
please think about the community's when this is put fourth.

I support the proposed continuation of the HVO mine in the hunter valley of NSW.
The HVO mine is a valuable economic contributor to both state and federal governments and has provided financial stability for many families in the hunter region over its 35+ years of operation.
The HVO has a strong commitment in the past to minimising its impacts on the environment and due to this proposal being a continuation of an existing mine those same commitments with be upheld.

I would like to see the mine continue operating. It is both a direct and indirect employer of thousands of people. I believe that many people will become unemployed long term if the mine were to close within its current time frame. The way in which mines work nowadays minimizes the environmental damage caused and rehabilitation creates usable land for the future.

I fully support of the HVO North Open Cut Continuation Project to help give the youth of today a future for tomorrow. The mines of the Hunter Valley play a vital role in Australia's economy and are delivering world class leading mining practices and rehabilitation of the land.

Its an integral part of the community and state. The mine will not be any bigger and if it was to shut the flow on affect for businesses and families in the community will be affected. I support the project and look forward to what it will bring for the community.

I support HVO to expand and extend its mine life

I'm from the local area I've worked in mining for 10 years now and i highly support the hvo continuation project it will benefit the area and community's for years to come. This will guarantee me work for years to come and also will support me and my young family.
