I still strongly object the proposed development as previously mentioned issues are not addressed properly in the "Amended Environment Impact Statement" . Could I please also request Department of Planning to conduct their own internal assessment to ensure that concerns raised by residents are addressed clearly and also please do provide the response to each objection so its transparent rather than releasing a generic statement.
Submission
I object the proposed development due to following critical reasons;
1.The proposed site is very close to residential area.
2.Noise pollution will increase and could cause long term medical conditions.
3.The turbine vibration has the potential to damage the structure of our house and also the surrounding houses.
4.The release of chemical odours from the site will make the living conditions unbearable and unhealthy for us and also for the surrounding residents and the environment.
5.I have two sick children in the house, my daughter is asthmatic. This development has the potential to cause long term harm to her asthma.
6.The value of our residential property will go down causing enormous financial loss.

We "Object" to this development. Why has the Council told the developer to go back and do more work, this gives me the impression Council may have already formed an opinion on this development? Blacktown Councils answer to this development should be a flat "NO".
We agree with all the other submissions from both our friends and other concerned residents. Ultimately we love where we live and our community and the people that make up that community. We have always said this is our "Castle" and would be here for ever.
What right has Next Generation got to impact on our quality of life, to play roulette with the health of our children just to line their own pockets with greed. When we purchased our home in Minchinbury nearly 15 years ago, we thought we had won the lottery - our piece of paradise. If this development goes ahead we are very concerned our way of life will be significantly changed.
We live in a quiet cul de sac and love nothing better than spending time outside on our neighbours lawn enjoying their company and the wonderful view of the neighbourhood.
To have 2 huge dirty smoke stacks bellowing huge amounts of potentially toxic waste into the air 24 hours a day nonstop for 30 plus years will end that tradition. We will be prisoners in our own home, shut indoors away from the outside stench. We have already endured years of putrid smell from the other waste facilities within the area which both the EPA and facility operations have failed to stop.
Australia is a HUGE country with ample area this type of development could be better suited, so why not go further west away from suburbia? There is NO way this type of development would be put around the Eastern and Northern suburbs of Sydney.
My question is; what will happen to our family's health and that of our home in the future? People can be voted in and out of office every couple of years, however a development like this will have a long lasting impact on the residents and land values for 30 plus years.
Please vote "NO" to this development!

Another dumping ground for the city's waste being forced on to the western suburbs. You take us for fools, and it is hugely disappointing, this is not an appropriate site based on past history with significance odour related issues from the Wallgrove Road Disposal facility. While it is a different method it is hard to fathom how the incineration of waste will not adversely affect close by neighbouring residents in Minchinbury, Erskine Park and St Clair. The site will provide very few jobs of which i know for fact, is in the region of about 30, and will bring in significant number of additional vehicle movements. Any visit to the M4 on and off ramps from Penrith to Blacktown will indicate that the capacity has been under pressure for over 5 years.
Given the submission and consultation process is basically arbitary and the government would have already formed their view with no real serious contemplation of local residents i suppose i'll accept that me and my family of small children will have to accept this terrible facility right amoungst one of the only remaining bits of greenery in our suburb, but how about in exchange we get a West Bound on ramp put on the M4, and that if the facility is to be there that the neighbouring local Council's are mandated to use the facility and are provided a concessional rate for dumping which can then translate into a cheaper domestic waste charge for residents. If the bureaucrat who reads this cares to pass on to the government, if they can achieve even one of those i will vote them back in, otherwise i'm jumping ship with most other people. I am very concerned about the level of pollutants that will be omitted from this plant. Since the waste management plant has opened we have seen an increase in dust particles in the air, and in our homes, which has affected our breathing. Burning waste will only increase this pollution and affect our health even more. It's interesting that the NSW Health department and Blacktown City Council were both against this proposal. I work at a local school and have seen an increase of students affected by asthma since the waste management plant opened. I am worried for their health once this incinerator operates. Im sure there is a better place to build this incinerator (eg Badgerys Creek) where there are no residential areas within less than 5km away. Consider the health of the surrounding area's residents...residents of nursing homes, schools, preschools, homes, workplaces...all within less than 5 kms away from this site....

The proposal to build and operate a large waste disposal facility that Next Generation NSW at Eastern Creek in Western Sydney is ridiculous. Some points are quite simply put below:
1) The facility is too close to residential development
2) The scale is too large
3) Polution of this facility will impact many people in Western Sydney
4) if the Blacktown council has rejected it on a number of occasions there is a clear point that it is not good for the area.
If this facility is "needed" for Sydney then it should be placed well clear of residential locations and will the full concent of thd council and lkcal community.
Yours sincerely
A very concered local

I am strongly against the Incinerator Power Plant Development.
I have been a resident of Minchinbury for 28 years and watched our children and family grow fit and healthy. We have suffered dust and blasting from the Quarry and Crushing of Rock. The Quarry Life ended and should be filled and parkland put in its place. This New Development is in the wrong place and one kilometer from my door. Far to close for this type of Toxic Activity and cause of angst in my retiring years. To have 4 stacks of 103 meter high burning day and night is beyond reproach. They say they are clean burning. That is not True. All Stacks generate heat and fumes regardless. The Volume of Trucks not only going to the Site but that feed the Warehousing Precinct is massive now.
We have OneSteel belching out steam and fumes, The Brickwork Business at Eastern Creek and Cecil Hills all sending fumes and heat into the air fowling Sydney Basins Air even more. The Dada facility has no water carts or misting on the stockpiles and conveyors now and that is breathed in. The whole thing is a dangerous folly that should not go ahead! No Incinerator Please!

The surrounding suburbs have some of NSW highest incidences of respiratory problems and allergies. This location is not in the best interests of this locality by any stretch of the imagination. This will put additional stresses on the already overwhelmed local health workers and providers.
