this is in support of submission lodged last week:

There is peak undue disturbance on a weekly basis, particularly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, from amplified entertainment conducted in the open-air nightclub that is located on the UNESCO Heritage Listed Lower Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House;
It appears that the Opera Bar is breaking all the rules in the book to conduct a liquor sales business in a UNESCO Heritage Listed site;
We cannot find any DA lodged for selling alcohol at the Opera Bar in the first instance;
it appears that the Opera Bar is selling alcohol illegally in a public place as no one authority, including Sydney Opera House, is able to produce a DA to support this business;
it appears that the licence to sell alcohol has been sub-leased from Sydney Opera House to a third party;
there is no way of accounting the number of patrons at this venue due to the open public thoroughfare area where the alcohol is served and consumed in;
the public area is packed with up to 5,000 patrons with 5 exits in place;
in an emergency evacuation situation, there is no way 5,000 patrons will be able to safely exit this area if 1m is required for each 100 patrons;
I feel this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Current facilities and resources of the sydney olympic park is not sufficient to support the growth of population.

To protect sydney Olympic park entire environment, less population and less high rise building is better.

The proposed location of the project will bring unwanted congestion to an already heavy traffic intersection which leads to the main venues of Sydney Olympic Park and to Wentworth Point. The additional residences will not only affect the local community with already limited traffic capacity but also the privacy of existing residences which are within a close proximity.

Please carefully take into consideration the above mentioned issues which presents a risk to an already established community.

This development is not only a negative impact to the local community where there it impacts on the lifestyle of local residents - there is also insufficient infrastructure currently to support the proposed number of additional residences. Moreover the developments have a substantial impact on the view and value of existing residences where it blocks the current views of multiple existing residences.

Another tall building in the area will block not only our view but also our sunlight during the day. This will decrease the value of our property and there are health concerns if our sunlight is blocked. Traffic is another serious problem to consider as Australia avenue is already clustered enough during mornings and evenings and another residential building will greatly add to Tbilisi problem. There are also concerns regarding noise from the neighbouring building.
