The Colong Foundation for Wilderness Ltd does not oppose this

I write in support of Lithgow Environment Group's submission and want to
reinforce the fact that this application "makes a mockery of the
planning process".
The proposed modifications will seriously affect protected swamps and
alter the ground water table. This will also affect the Wolgan River,
which is one of the features why visitors come to Newnes and the
Wolgan Valley. Mining at Angus Place will also affect Carne Creek
which is the sole water supply of Emirates One and Only Wolgan Valley
Resort.
We have had years of damage to swamps, emergency discharges, spills
and destruction of the wider environment. How is it possible in 2018
that a coal miner will be granted another modification to carry on
their destructive path ?
Thank you for your time
