RMS Comments for the proposal are:
1) RMS/Transport for NSW comments provided to earlier versions of the application still apply.
2) Sections 4.1, 4.2 and 4.2.2 of Appendix H refer to a proposed street layout that is not described completely accurately. Approval has been provided for the partial closure of Shelley Street westbound from Sussex Street only for the construction period of Wynyard Walk. Any permanent closure of Shelly Street is subject to additional requirements and approval that has not yet occurred. The permanent configuration of the intersection of Sussex Street/Shelley Street will be determined within that process.
3) The intersection designs, pedestrian/traffic facilities, road configuration and infrastructure for the sections of Erskine Street and Lime Street, between Sussex Street and Barangaroo South should be reviewed and upgraded to provide suitable access to and from the development proposal.
4) Proposed traffic light intersections will require approval from RMS.
