I am concerned with the expansion of the school and addition of a child care centre and out of school hours care, as this would increase the traffic levels and noise in the residential area. With the current enrolments, there is already a lot of traffic on surrounding streets (Whithers road, The Parkway and The Rise) the increased number of students would add to this congestion and for longer hours of the day as families access the child care centre and out of school hours care which operate longer hours. Currently traffic builds up on the street the school
Is located on as parents access the entry from both directions, many parking illegally on the road as there is no parking available, stopping in the middle of the street to let children out and conducting illegal u-turns to access the school. This will also increase, risking the safety of the children walking to neighbouring schools and waiting for buses along this road. The roads in the area are not equipped to handle the increase in traffic, there are not enough bus routes to transport the children to the school, there are no safe walking paths or pedestrian crossings near the school and with the added traffic from Ironbark and Rouse hill High on the already busy Withers road, the traffic is going to be a nightmare.

School Expansion Plan Puts Residential Neighborhood At Risk : Concerned citizens speak out against proposed expansion, citing safety, traffic, noise, and quality of life concerns
As our community continues to grow and evolve, it's essential that we prioritize the needs and well-being of all residents. Unfortunately, the proposed expansion of the school in our residential neighborhood falls short of this goal.
The expansion plan, which would double the school's student body and add new buildings, has raised significant concerns among local residents - we cannot ignore the negative impact this expansion would have on our community both in the immediate and longer term.
One of the primary concerns is the increased traffic and congestion that would result from the expansion. Our neighborhood streets are already narrow and crowded, and the addition of hundreds of new students, teachers, and staff would only exacerbate the problem. This would not only make our streets more hazardous but also decrease air quality and increase noise pollution.
Furthermore, the expansion would also lead to a significant increase in noise levels, disrupting the peaceful enjoyment of our homes. The construction process itself would be a lengthy and disruptive ordeal, causing unnecessary stress and disturbance to residents.
But beyond these practical concerns, there's a more fundamental issue at play. Our neighborhood is a vibrant and diverse community, and the expansion would fundamentally alter its character. The increased foot traffic, noise, and activity would erode the quality of life that we value so deeply.

It is crazy for student enrolments to be tripled by this project (around 500 to 1500). There are neighbouring public schools (Ironbark Ridge and Rouse Hill High) that are both at around a 1000 student school (Rouse Hill High could be more). Has a traffic study been conducted at key periods before 9am and around 3.30pm? You will note that there is significant amount of cars in the morning turning right on Bridgewood Drive at the roundabout going up The Rise for the Islamic School. Cars coming from Ironbark Ridge/Rouse Hill High are backed up on Bridgewood Drive waiting to go over this roundabout. This proposal will then triple the amount of traffic. No thought has been given to infrastructure effects. The impact of this proposal will back up the traffic far beyond Bridgewood to the Ironbark Ridge roundabout and also then affect Withers Road traffic. At school drop off/pick up time, cars already use the other residential streets around Dainfern Street to bypass roundabout (going at speed). This project needs to be reduced in the proposal of student enrolments due to small suburb and the gridlock of traffic that this will create for the schools in the area. No thought has been given to the existing schools and traffic. You will be tripling the traffic in this area.

My objection to this project is because of the additional traffic that will impact greatly on the already heavily congested single lane road system in this area. Mungerie Road to which this school is located is a single lane road that connects to Withers Road that is in most parts still a single lane road with absolutely no indication of expansion in making it a two-lane road. Other entry and exit roads from this location are via single lane residential streets through Beaumont Hills. The other schools already in the area are growing in student numbers combined with the Kellyville Netball facilities and North Kellyville Square already make it a nightmare for all residents and other road uses.
I believe this project should be rejected at this time or at least placed on hold until the road infrastructure is improved to support any further ambitious projects.

I am opposed to the proposed extension. Please find reasons in attachment:
1 traffic congestion - massive disruptions on all roads in the area. Just not designed for it.
2 out of character for area
3 noise issue
4 pedestrian issue - 1300 students too many
5 should be located elsewhere due to proposed size.
6 not really needed, already 4 schools within 1 km radius, and international school not much further.
7 only 1 way in and out of the school off a greatly already impacted road system

NSW Project Planning need to consider the infrastructure availability to support growth projects. Currently there is huge traffic in the area impacting not only Mungerie and Withers road but also surrounding roads especially during school drop off and pick hours. NSW Project planning need to increase more lanes on both the Mungerie and Withers Road to support this growth of 3 times the school limit size. Understood that there are parking and underground facilities created inside the campus to support the school, however, it will not mean that there is no increase traffic on the road. People are suffering daily in this area during school drop off and pick off and the road infrastructure isn't there to not only support the current needs let alone future growth.

I do not support this Malek Fahd Islamic School Expansion project. It will change our area significantly, and significantly impact our life. It already has a good school closely. If they want their kids to study in their culture background school only, let themselves teach at home. Please do not affect neighbourhoods' life style.

I strongly object to the proposed expansion of the Islamic school due to two significant concerns that will directly impact the Beaumont Hills community.
Firstly, safety is a well-documented issue within the Islamic community. As residents of Beaumont Hills, we highly value the tranquillity and security of our neighbourhood, and any expansion of the school raises concerns about potential risks affecting our peaceful environment.
Secondly, the school’s location already contributes to significant traffic congestion, particularly at the roundabout where Withers Road and Mungerie Road intersect. An expansion would exacerbate these issues, causing further delays, safety hazards, and disruptions for local residents and commuters.
