Leichhardt Local Environmental Plan 2000 (Amendment No 19)

Inner West

To amend Leichhardt LEP 2000 to rezone land at 118 -124 Terry Street, Rozelle from 'Industrial' to 'Residential', with some additional permissible uses and controls, in order to facilitate the remediation and redevelopment of industrial land. The additional permissible uses would be shops, commercial premises and refreshment rooms each with a gross floor area of less than 300sqm up to a combined maximum total gross floor area of 1300sqm; and light industrial uses up to a maximum total gross floor area of 450sqm. The proposed additional controls relate to the circumstances in which the provisions of clause 19(2) of the LEP 2000 will not apply to development*.*Clause 19(2) of the LEP 2000 states that consent must not be granted to residential development if it would result in the floor space ratio (FSR) exceeding specified maximum FSRs.
