Proposal to alter Low rise medium density housing controls

The planning proposal seeks to make the following amendments to the Hurstville Local Environmental Plan (HLEP) 2012:
• prohibit Multi dwelling housing, Multi dwelling housing (terraces) and Manor houses in the R2 Low Density Residential zone; and
• increase the minimum lot size for dual occupancies from 630m2 to 650m2.
The planning proposal also seeks to make the following amendments to the Kogarah Local Environmental Plan (KLEP) 2012:
• prohibit manor houses, multi dwelling housing (terraces), town houses and villas from being built on land listed under Items 17, 18 or 19 of Schedule 1 Additional Permitted Uses unless development consent is granted by Council.; and
• prohibit dual occupancies from being built on land listed under Items 17, 18 or 19 of Schedule 1 Additional Permitted Uses, unless development consent is granted by Council.
