Section 3.22 - Heritage Amendment

The Newcastle LEP 2012 lists almost 700 heritage items, eight heritage conservation areas and 20 archaeological sites within Schedule 5 Environmental Heritage.

Since gazettal of the LEP, anomalies to property descriptions and item names have become apparent in the schedule. Several items also require amending for consistency with state significant listings.

The application applies to multiple parcels of land, all of which are identified in 'Part 2- Explanation of Provisions' and ‘Part 3 - Amendments to Schedule 5 of the Newcastle LEP 2012’. ‘Part 4 – Mapping’ of the application indicates which LEP maps are required for change.
